Savory Creamy Garlic Chicken

This one-pan creamy garlic chicken is easy, quick, and packed with flavor! Tender, juicy chicken is smothered in a garlicky parmesan cream sauce, making it the perfect dish for a cozy meal.


Ingredients

For the Chicken:

  • 2 large chicken breasts, sliced in half lengthwise
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

For the Creamy Garlic Sauce:

  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • ½ cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

1. Cook the Chicken

  1. Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Sear the chicken for 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown.
  4. Remove and set aside.

2. Make the Creamy Garlic Sauce

  1. Reduce heat to medium and melt butter in the same skillet.
  2. Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Pour in chicken broth, scraping up browned bits.
  4. Stir in heavy cream, parmesan, and Italian seasoning. Simmer for 2-3 minutes until thickened.
  5. Add lemon juice for extra brightness (optional).

3. Combine & Serve

  1. Return chicken to the skillet and coat in the sauce.
  2. Simmer for 3-4 minutes until chicken is fully cooked.
  3. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with mashed potatoes, rice, or pasta!
